ongoing project, 2023 -
Danube — my Hommage to the act of observing nature. The source material for the project is my personal archive of images of the Danube river’s landscapes around my hometown - Tutrakan, Bulgaria.
As an active part of my childhood, the site created a multi-layered image of itself in my mind. The project doesn’t seek to create a literal visual expression, but to convey a sense of that landscape.
As a structure so far, it consists of short stories or collected unrelated images, presented as an archive with a specific month and year. Currently, I have been working on a book that should be released by early summer 2025.
